Taylor Bailey is a recent graduate of Southwestern University, with a Studio Art and Art History double major. Raised in the hill country of central Texas, Taylor gained an appreciation of a wide variety of natural landscapes. Her work deals with the relationship between humans and the land which they occupy, and the many interactions between the two as they fight for a dominance over the other. Her works vary in size and medium, from charcoal on paper to concrete and asphalt on found textiles and wood.

Taylor’s studio is located in Bee Cave, Texas in the Contracommon collective space. Keep an eye out for upcoming exhibitions and open studio days!
